Beside crocodiles, there were tonnes of other animals available in the farm. Too bad lots of them were not well taken care of and some of them were hungry. And I saw some dead animals too.. sad
Even this fierce-looking hawk looked lonely without mates..

I dunno what’s this li’l creature name is, but aww.. he knew how to pose..

Was it motherly love or was it just a pillow?

Aww.. you are naughty.. aren’t you?

Malay people says, “sungai yang tenang jangan disangka tiada buaya”.. or can be translated to - “still river don’t expect no crocodile”.. haha!!
I believe similar English idiom as above would be “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”.
Sarawakian will call them “batang” instead of “buaya”. It is like calling “Cik Ti” for mouse instead of tikus in the house.

This croco can die if their “muncung” is injured.

I believe they called it differently in Jong’s Crocodile Farm, but according to Zoo Taiping the species above is named as “Buaya Jejulung”.
And one lazy lizard having a blast under the sun.

Been a week since my last entry! Hate to say this, but I didn’t have the chance to meet ibu Juliana last week. Perhaps, if possible, could Sha and I just go to the orphanage to ask about the tuition programme? And I didn’t read the NMS modules yet.. arghh!!
But the idea of writing is just so tempting.. aahh.. what the heck..
After 2 days I went to Damai, I went to Jong’s Crocodiles Farm located somewhere nearby Kuching. It was a one to one father-daughter session, I guess, since it was very hard to force Ayi out of his bed on that day.
Soon after we arrived, it was feeding time.

Aummm.. said the croco.
Posted the picture above in candidsyndrome forum. People there commented that I should crop the picture. But am too lazy to do that.. haha!!
In Speedy Gonzales mode, swoooshhh came the croco..

Looks more like Road Runner to me.
Beep beep!!

Before we reached the beach, we had to gone through the pathway under the lushes. Took some flora pictures. Put it in earlier entry, here.
As we hit the beach, we kept our belongings near the rock.

There were greens and blues there.

My father went fishing and we saw a boat.

After water dipping, I rested near the rocks. Saw some “anak ikan”.

Best of all, Papa took an excellent picture of Ayi in Damai.

I went to Damai, Kuching last Gawai holiday. It was a quiet ride.

On the way there, I saw Santubong. Santubong is nice from the bridge.

And from the road.

Bye.
